After 15 years at the helm of one of the UK’s leading techno residencies, Slam show no signs of slowing, as the first of Return to Mono’s explosive monthly dates are released.
Co–curating Glasgow’s Riverside Festival, promoting and playing at their Maximum Pressure events and releasing a relentless attack of stellar records, the Glaswegian techno titans have flourished in 2019 and are eagerly anticipating the new decade.
Return to Mono tears into another season with Slam playing all night long at the start of January, armed with Sub Club’s iconic booth and system and a barrage of devastating techno music.
The following month they are joined by Rebekah who specialises in filling the most cavernous of dancefloors with thunderous sets. This year the Birmingham bred, Berlin based DJ and producer released her acclaimed EP Murder in Birmingham, as well as crushing it at clubs and festivals around the world including a blinding live set at Riverside Festival earlier on this year.
2020’s Return to Mono series is set to remain in full throttle in March whenFrench DJ, producer and head honcho of Mama Told Ya records, Anetha, will be commanding the Sub Club dancefloor. Inspired by trance, electro and old school 90’s techno tracks; and known for honing her own alternative, atmospheric style of techno; Anetha just knows how to make people dance.
