Poo Bear has been building his name as Justin Bieber’s go-to hit writer — penning Skrillex, Diplo and Bieber’s 5x Platinum-selling single Where Are Ü Now as well as seven other songs on Bieber’s latest album Purpose — now making his artist debut singing on his first solo collaboration alongside Skrillex.
Sonny Moore aka Skrillex found club and mainstream stardom beginning in 2008, when he swapped his gig as the frontman in post-hardcore band From First to Last for the dancefloor-oriented project Skrillex.
Most of Skrillex’s recordings, however, were forced around his busy touring schedule, which found him on every inhabited continent playing to hundreds of thousands of dance fans. In 2015, the now prolific producer collaborated with Diplo for the album Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack U, taking his Grammy’s tally to 8 before he partnered up with rapper Rick Ross for single Purple Lamborghini, which appeared on the soundtrack for Suicide Squad.
