Fire up the Walkman, and dust off those Doc Martens, the Hotter Than Hell festival tour returns in February 2020. Cementing its place on the Australian rock calendar as the quintessential nostalgic experience, Hotter Than Hell is tailor-made for any 90s and 00s true music believer.
For the event’s third year, the festival will start the mayhem in at Coopers Alehouse in Gepps Cross (SA) on Saturday 1 February, then continue its way north every Saturday after to York on Lilydale in Mt Evelyn (VIC) and Kirwan Tavern in Townsville (QLD), before finishing up at the Dunsborough Tavern (WA).
With the line-up reaching boiling point in 2019, organisers are promising an even hotter and spicier array of classic acts. Burning up the stage earlier this year were Spiderbait, Jebediah and Shihad — three acts who are considered rock royalty across the Australian and New Zealand rock scene. Now it’s time for Hotter Than Hell to go international. Promising not one, but two international headliners, the full line up announcement will be revealed in two days time.
