Where are you currently based and what is the music scene like there?
I am currently based in Sydney Australia – I love Sydney and Australia but due to Sydney’s lockout laws a lot of the music scene hasn’t grown over the years I have felt.
I like to support, local bands, DJ’s, Singers by going out to there gigs and event’s to see what the industry is up to and direction they are taking musically. I feel a lot of entertainers are performers are creating music they love to do and not so much follow the trends like they use to.
You’re currently a judge on Australian Channel 7’s ‘All Together Now’ how did this gig come about?
I received a call from a producer who I worked with last year on a Kids/Music show and she was going to be on the show as one of the judges so she put me forward for the job and the rest was history.
How has the experience been so far?
The experience was amazing to be honest I did not know what to expect after reading the brief. When I got there and saw the stage I was blown away thinking it was bigger and greater than I expected.
The production team and channel 7 done a great job and The 99 judges are full of life in their creative element I am forever grateful to be part of it.
I realised I knew some of the judges when I got there so it was nice to be asked to do the show.
Recently you’ve been working with Ruff Loaderz, what exactly have you both been working on?
I’ve been working with the Ruff Loaderz over the last year now we recorded and wrote my new single ‘Empty’ last year and this year we wrote two more tracks ‘I C U’ and ‘Slave To The Wage’
‘I C U’ is a dance track that was also recorded in Italian which is due for release next year and ‘Slave To The Wage’ is a dirty sexy deep house track that I’ve never done before which will also be released.
You latest single ‘Empty’ is out now, please tell us what influenced the sound and songwriting for this track?
My mum passed away in 2016 so my siblings and I went to Italy to scatter her ashes and my manager organized a recording session with them to work on some tracks. For days I was wondering what to write about and trying to come up with melodies etc. The day when my family and I were on a boat in Capri the lyrics and melody came running through my mind and I quickly grabbed my phone and recorded the Idea and worked on before my recording session in the UK. I sang the track to Ruff Laoderz and the producer and It was a perfect match my idea just blended perfectly to the quirky house track and that’s how empty was born.

You’ll be heading over to the UK for a tour in 2019, what do you have instore for your UK fans?
Yes I’ll be in the UK doing a promo tour for my single ‘I C U’ What fans can expect is that I want everyone to just let themselves go and have fun.
I’ll be performing a few covers as well as originals.
How was your experience with supporting Human Nature?
Human Nature a pro’s in what they do they work hard and give a great show. I remember and just recently watched footage from the shows and I was in my element loving every moment and fortunate to have been given such a great opportunity
What do you have planned for the remainder of 2018 going into 2019?
It’s coming to the end of year so I’m just going to finish a few projects I’m working on and spend time with family and friends over the Xmas break and celebrate NYE at my cousin’s wedding lol.
What do you like to do away from music?
My head doesn’t stop so I’m always thinking and on the go I’m writing a book at the moment and working on a fashion brand with my partner.
I’m also very spontaneous and love meeting new people and having a fun last min.
How did you first start playing music?
I remember watching the American Music Awards in 1990 and I looked at my parents and said that’s what I want to do when I grow up and I totally threw myself in my work from a young age I was a workaholic.
My poor parents I’m surprised I hadn’t sent them broke lol.
Favourite food and place to hangout?
I’m Italian and addicted to Italian food /
Place to hang out would be my home or a party at someone else’s lol .
