Bursting onto the scene in 2017, Retro Video Club are a high-octane Indie/Rock band hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland. Last month they released their new single ‘3AM’ via LAB Records, a high-energy indie-rock track with a chorus made for sweaty venues. After holing up in a studio for almost a year refining their sound, their debut single ‘Psycho’ was play-listed to both Spotify’s ‘Hot New Bands’ and ‘The Indie List’ playlists. The end of 2017 saw them play sold out shows at Edinburgh’s Mash House and Glasgow’s King Tut’s.
Earlier this year, their single ‘Chemistry’ was play-listed on seven Spotify playlists including ‘All New, All Now’, ‘Indie Roadtrip’ and ‘Walk Like a Badass’, seeing it streamed to over one million people. On top of that, they were the featured artist on ‘Hot New Bands’ for the UK and Ireland. One week after Chemistry’s release, the band sold out the 650-capacity Liquid Room in Edinburgh.
Having played their biggest ever shows earlier this summer, with a sold-out King Tuts in Glasgow and Edinburgh’s Princes Street Gardens Summer Sessions (alongside Bastille and The Vaccines), Retro Video Club are currently on a co-headline tour, alongside RedFaces and Blackwaters. 3 final dates in their native Scotland take place in December (see below).
