REDFERN SURF CLUB RETURNS WITH SURF CLUB SUNDAYS IN 2022 MAY-A, LIYAH KNIGHT & KIRSTEN SALTY TO PERFORM SUN 9 JAN

Redfern Surf Club today announces the final installment of this series’  Surf Club Sundays for Jan 9 2022. ARIA Nominated powerhouse MAY-A will be headlining the series finale alongside local stars Liyah Knight and Kirsten Salty. Presented by FBi Radio, this free, five-show series has to date showcased 20 + artists including Palms, Tasman Keith, Vlossom, and more to hundreds of patrons from the local community. Initially slated for May and June, Covid lockdowns have put the last show of this series on hold until now.

Surf Club Sundays are proudly presented by FBi Radio and made possible by Create NSW Play the City Grant, from which Redfern Surf Club has reinvested all funds directly back into the music community including artists, production companies, sound engineers, photographers, and crew.

Come January this 100 capacity neighbourhood favourite, replete with its lush greenery, natural sunlight, and tropical good vibes is once again the perfect spot to check out your next new favourite band. Relish in a stacked roster of Australian craft beer, tropical cocktails, natural wine curated by P&V Merchants, food specials, and a mega happy hour running 4-6 pm.

The Redfern Surf Club acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which it stands, the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation. Sovereignty was never ceded.
