Red Bull today announces it will return to Melbourne on Saturday, July 20 for their second Red Bull presents: 1800-DOOF. Launching at a sold-out Yours & Mine last month and kicking on well into the early hours, the event next enters a new and secret club-ready Melbourne CBD location, inviting Detroit headliner Kyle Hall, and Australian contingents Otologic, Ben Fester, Millúand Emma Stevenson to the party.
Founder of techno label Wild Oats, Detroit luminary Kyle Hall headlines the second edition of 1800-DOOF. A DJ and producer well-loved by fans and industry greats alike, Hall’s work traverses his deep jazz roots, to funk, soulful deep house, and techno; seeing him perform regularly across the world and next making a special stop in Melbourne.
Proudly representing the homegrown contingent on July 20, is Melbourne DJ and party-throwing duo Otologic. Australia-wide staples for thrilling musical journeys at the turntables, the pair have opened for greats like DJ Harvey, played to festivals across the nation and co-founded the Animals Dancing brand. Joining them is Sydney selector and underground mainstay, Ben Fester, Melbourne’s hypnotic Millú and Brisbane techno enthusiast Emma Stevenson.
