With his debut album ‘Enroute’ hitting over 10 million streams back in April, Dutch producer Quentyn now teamed up with Swedish singer / songwriter KEV for their brand new radio gem ‘Nobody’ on Enroute Records.
‘Nobody’ blends KEV’s catchy lyrics and mesmerizing vocals seamlessly with Quentyn’s unique signature indie sound and energetic electronic tunes. With such a strong song at the heart of this track, little is needed to make it truly shine, but the contrast and effortless mixture of sounds only serves to amplify its charms. This catchy pop/dance crossover is one that stays with you and will undoubtedly get stuck in your head after just one listen.
Quentyn: “I knew KEV from his track ‘Moments’, which absolutely blew me away when I heard it in 2016. Such an amazing atmosphere and one of the reasons I started producing more towards the crossover indie, synth pop genre. Very honoured to have worked with him on this song!”
KEV: ” The song originated in the middle of the summer of 2020 during the pandemic. It’s about the feeling of just wanting to go away and do something exciting, which is more fun when you have someone in your team who wants the same things as you do. Someone who gives you that sense of freedom and togetherness at the same time. Who’s on your side no matter what, who’s irreplaceable and gives you the opportunity to truly be yourself and do the things you love to do, while they do the same.”

Having parted Volt & State in 2016, it presented the upside for Quentyn of having more musical freedom than ever before. It allowed him to dive into an experiment with sounds, melodies, and different energies. Now he’s on a mission creating his own ‘Indie Progressive’ genre, which represents the unique blending of progressive house melodies with energetic indie band sounds.
