Where are you currently based and what is the music scene like there?
I am currently based in Norway/Oslo. The music scene here is really great, I feel like there are so much opportunities for up and coming artists, they get to play on the same scenes as internationally huge artists, I mean they booked Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Ty Dolla Sign and Tylor Tyler the creator this year ti Norwegian festivals. And since it’s a small country there is a bigger chances to spread your music to everyone.
How did you first start playing music?
I grew up in a musical family, my parents played gigs in their spare time and my uncles work as fulltime musicians, so I never really started playing music, it’s always been a part of my life, but I learned how to play the violin when I was 9, and after that I taught myself how to play the piano and guitar. However I’ve never really been any good with reading notes or the theoretic part of the music so it started to get hard to play songs I wanted to play just by ear, so I started making my own compositions and then I added lyrics and I really enjoyed doing that, I kept making songs with acoustic instruments for a good while but now I produce everything on Cubase and I think, me starting to compose from an early age helped me understand the structure of a song much better.

When I listen to music it’s all about the vibe I get from that particular song so I don’t really analyze the songs I like by how perfect they are or how complex the chords are, I love a song that is straight forward and will leave me with a relatable feeling, that’s the thing I try to accomplish with my own songs i want to make people feel in a certain way and I want to make songs that is easy to comprehend and like.
What do you have planned for the remainder of 2018 going into 2019?
I am going to release an EP this year and I just want to release as much music as I can, play gigs and yeah just enjoy being an artist. And i’m going a lot of writing for producers from all over the world so it hopefully release a lot of collab projects this year and in 2019.
What do you like to do outside of music?
I really love making graphic designs, I spend a lot of time making artworks and random designs.
And I try to enjoy the warm weather in Oslo and go to beaches relax and swim. It’s not every year we have such a lovely weather like this I Norway so I’m soaking it in.
Favourite food and place to hangout?
I’m legit obsessed with corn and mushrooms so I like everything that has those in it. Turkish or Greek dishes are really good as well, and I love every food my mom makes, it’s like, whatever she makes becomes my next favorite dish, so i love to hang out at my mom’s place lol.
