Following the release Ruinism in June this year Lapalux returns with a brand new EP The End Of Industry. The EP’s sonic palette comes from, in part, self-modulating and self-generative modular patches and from played in, recorded motifs and instrumentation as well as heavy editing. “The premise of this EP was to make something that resembled the current automated world we’re now living in,” he explained.
“The London producer is continuing along the path ‘Ruinism’ took, leaving
his trademark emphasis on details, solid melodies and discernible
beats for abstraction, dissonance and industrial clatter.”
