Introducing Yungblud, aka Dominic Harrison, a 19 year old singer songwriter from Doncaster, England.  Yungblud is the first international signing to Australian label Night High.  Yungblud’s debut single ‘King Charles’ is an instantly catchy, driving rock track, like a “mix between Jamie T and the Arctic Monkeys, with an added pinch of punk spirit”, and by design, politically charged, angry, and youth focused.

Yungblud has been surrounded by music all his life.  Having a father as a vintage guitar dealer and grandfather who played with T-Rex in the 70s, this rising star has had The Beatles, Bob Dylan and The Clash spoon fed to him since birth. Shredding guitar and singing since he can remember, the young musician has created his own blend of alternative rock: poetry, guitar-hooks and break-beats with a fierce determination to make a dent in pop-culture.

‘King Charles’ has earned Yungblud early BBC1 and European radio support, whilst Clash Magazine ran premiered the music video.  He has been featured on various tastemaker websites – Line Of Best Fit, Wonderland Magazine, Lowlands and more – and just played at UK’s The Great Escape.

Yungblud is the first international signing to Night High Records, a new collaborative label between EMI Music Australia and Nic Kelly of Project U.

Nic Kelly said, “Heading to a pub on my last night in London earlier this year was a good call – it introduced me to one of the most charismatic, energetic and important young voices in the world. YUNGBLUD’s message reflects that of every young person on the planet, and the energy with which he expresses it means it will be heard. I’m so stoked to welcome him to Night High.”
