You have just signed to Neon Tetra for the vinyl release of their 2nd album proper ‘Galactic Radio’ the release will be accompanied by high-end ltd edition artwork and all sorts of other cool collectibles.
Where and when did you record?
Rocket Science – an amazing Glasgow studio with big Rossco and wee Mikey B.
It’s mostly inspired by the film Inception.
How do you usually go about song writing?
Usually Dave the bassist cracks out some hefty basslines and we build from there.
How did you come to be signed to Neon Tetra?
I know this sounds sarchy, but am not even sure.

Illegal raves and mental disorders
You have 2 singles and videos to follow early in the new year ‘Soundhaus’ and the title track ‘Galactic Radio’, can you give us a little idea of what you have been working on and what to expect?
Soundhaus is inspired by techno raves in the underground scene in Glasgow and Galactic Radio is inspired by insomnia induced transedence and the SETI project.
Great – we already have lots of new tunes, a few of which are pretty much fully recorded including ‘I Like It Raw’ and ‘Rang Wi Me’. It’s darker that our old stuff.
An independent documentary film about the band’s fans has been made for release at European film festivals next year (of which is quite secret) we will keep our eyes peeled for this one.
You recently played your last big gig of the year on Friday at a secret location in Glasgow. ( it was in a derelict warehouse near the River Clyde) how was this show and how did it come about?
It was a class night. We wanted to do something that people would remember and that would become talked about in years to come so we did that.
Pounding kick drums and funky bass with dancing and gold.
What do you find most fulfilling and challenging about touring?
Fulfilling: the bevvy. Challenging: service stations.

Burgers at the burger joint.
