What is your name and role within the band?
My name is Alejandro and I’m the singer/songwriter of the band.
How did you start?
We started around 2007 playing The Strokes covers.
Where are you based?
Mexico City.
Please give an example of your music writing process?
I generally come up with a melody and start to develop the rhythm guitar of the song. I start demoing the songs in my computer and adding up layers further on.
What are you working on right now?
We just finished our second LP that should be out in a couple of months.
What is your gear setup?
I play a Fender Mustang through some fuzz and delay pedals.
What do you like to do outside of music and does it affect your music?
I used to play football but i don’t anymore i mainly play music, i love going to the beach and i guess it does affect my music making it “beachy”
How would you describe your music genre?
Acid Pop Punk.
Do you know any music theory?
A little bit, I’m taking music lessons since last year so i know a lot more than when i started.
What are your plans for the future?
Releasing our new album, also wanna make a jam band kind of like a Santana / King gizzard mashup.
How did you get into music?
My friends in high school had a band and i loved to go to their rehearsals so i figure out i could make my own band and i did with another friend from high school.
What are you listening to at the moment?
A 70s Cuban band named Irakere just recently blow my mind also Chris Cohen, Helvetia and The Lemon Twigs.
