“Vinci put so much of himself into this track and the EP Light Echoes, I wanted to make something that spoke to his personal and musical journey so far. We drew from Vinci’s Filipino heritage and explored the traditional spirituality of the Babaylans to question the current state of the world and our individual responsibility to bring something positive to it. To me, the idea of a light echo was a metaphor for the good that people see in us before we necessarily see it ourselves. It’s a prophecy of our future.” – Sanjay De Silva
