My friend and singer Laura Riganti showed me Sonder. They make beautiful music and listeners will be lost in Brent Faiyaz’s voice. Their music is very personal and relatable, It reminds me of old school r&b with a modern twist.

A.chal – Cuanto Feat. Asap Nast
A.Chal is another modern RnB star i bump on a daily basis. He takes simple hip hop vibe’y beats and lets his voice float over them. He makes good music sound effortless and provides a very cool ambience you’ll have on repeat.

Anderson paak. – Lightweight
A modern day great. Some of the most funky toe tapping, head nodding shit youll ever listen to. Regeneration of old school funk in the present day. You play this at any party from a disco to a trap house and youll have the room moving.

Roy Woods – Get you good
I listen to alot of artists coming up out of Toronto. Roy woods has released some of my favourite music in recent years. He gives off a michael jackson’esq vibe and great music to drive to. Definitely one for the ladies too. I think Women are the best critics. If women are feeling your sound the rest will follow.

Sbtrkt – Wonder Where We Land (Sampha)
Sampha is one of my biggest influences in music. A modern great and alot of my music comes off his sound. Alot of music today is created on trends and is hot for 5 minutes and forgotten about. Sampha stays timeless and i imagine most of his music is made from his voice and his piano and the beat will be created around him. Not forgetting Aaron Jerome of SBTRKT, his creativity is on another level as he dips into so many varied genres of music.
