Jayden Michael Dunne has announced the release of his first single, ‘Wandering’, available November 22nd on all major music platforms. Through a consistent cycle of shows as the pianist/guitarist for Melbourne/Albury band The Northern Folk, Jayden has recently toured across Australia performing at festivals such as St Kilda Festival, Woodford Folk Festival, and National Folk Festival. Recently occupied with releases from The Northern Folk, Georgie Currie, and other Melbourne artists, Jayden presents his own solo project.
With the engineering help of his roommate Ed, and featuring strings and duet vocals by some of his musical friends, ‘Wandering’ offers bittersweet lyricism with melancholy production and arrangement to compliment. Jayden’s Australian folk roots combine with the influences of Gregory Alan Isakov, Jason Isbell, Joy Williams, Jeffery Martin and Didirri to complete his unique style. ‘Wandering’ is the first single from Jayden Michael Dunne in what will be a long-term album plan.
