Brooklyn based techno producer and Snazzy Fx boss. Snazelle uses his own designed and built hardware in his productions and live sets. His focus as an artist is on electronic music as a vehicle for achieving transcendent states.
His sets have aspects of both the funky and hypnotic aspects of dance music. As a DJ and live act, Dan has performed throughout Europe and is a regular fixture in NYC underground.
2018 Snazelle released the “Exposure to a Steady Stream Ep” on Jacktone records. Fact Magazine included the track ” Broken Saucers in their best of September round-up. 2019 Nina Kraviz and Dan released their collaboration “u ludei est pravo” on the trip compilation “Happy New Year! We Wish You Happiness”
And now Schmer has released “Swarm Draze” which came about after Snazelle gave Schmer an archive of almost everything he had done in over two decades. Including multiple live recordings and more than 50 studio tracks. The A&R team at Schmer combed through it all, finding the most Schmertasic tracks and distilling them it into the essence of Snazelle. All that was left to create our most banging release yet was for the Schmer Queen herself, Hiroko Yamamura to lay down her Chitown stompno with a remix of “Swarm Draze”. What is it?
