Ghostface-Endorsed Busker’s Band ‘Big Words’ Release Debut EP
Melbourne’s best kept secret “Big Words” deliver highly anticipated debut EP.
Big Words are off to a very promising start to 2017 with the release of first and second singles “The Answer” and “Soul Jam” gaining strong attention and plenty of love from America and Europe the band has racked up well over 1,500,000 streams across Spotify/Apple Music.
A testament to their unique cocktail of genres, rapper/singer Kieren Lee was approached by Wu Tang’s Ghostface Killah while busking and was asked to join them on stage at their sold out Margaret Court Arena Show in late 2016 (watch here). As well as receiving high praise from US hip hop heavyweight Masta Ace it’s clear their progressive take on soul is quickly becoming something unmissable.
Since then having SOLD OUT every headline show of the year, the 5 piece is quickly gaining the reputation of being Melbourne’s most sought after up and coming act to watch. They are now set to deliver their long awaiting debut “Hollywood, a Beautiful Coincidence” a juicy 8 track EP which explores their portrayal of exploitation and staying alive in the music industry.
With a solid run of festivals under their belt (Beyond the Valley, Pitch Music & Arts, Strawberry Fields, Grapevine Gathering) and a debut national tour to be announced, Big Words have cemented their place as the ones to watch in 2018.
Big Words – Hollywood, A Beautiful Coincidence is out Sept 22nd 2017
