Australian duo Geowulf have created a video just as playful as the tune for “Drink Too Much“. Their most upbeat single yet, “Drink Too Much” is out now on 37 Adventures via [PIAS].
“Making this video was a lot of fun, and we made some babe friends with the co-stars” explains Star Kendrick (vocals), continuing “We came out of it all feeling like superstars for a day but not without further lessons learnt; Don’t drink too much when you’re hanging in swimming pools.” Watch the video below:
The pop shoegazers continue to export their dreamy lyrics of a beautifully fragile nature, with sonics that are arrestingly robust which were also displayed on their last EP – which Noiseylikened to Washed Out & Wild Nothings. Geowulf have found their niche; effortlessly gripping you to their music from the moment it starts and smoothly carrying you to the the end like a seductive magic carpet.
Debut EP Relapse, released May 2017, offered a bold & intent glance into what to expect from this exciting band. Lead tracks “Get You” and “Saltwater” glimmered amongst four strong singles in a tracklist that quickly amassed excitement among media & fans alike. Champions included the likes of Radio 1’s tastemaker DJs & a large chunk of the blogosphere, with singles quickly garnering seven million streams on Spotify. The band are currently pulling together the last pieces of a debut album pencilled in for January 2018, which should be earmarked as one of the most exciting prospects of next year.
