FRANKIE ROSE PREMIERES “AT NIGHT” OFF FULL ALBUM COVER OF THE CURE’S SEVENTEEN SECONDS OUT OCTOBER 27 EXCLUSIVELY VIA TURNTABLE KITCHEN’S SOUNDS DELICIOUS VINYL SERIES
Frankie Rose released her cover of The Cure’s “At Night,” off her forthcoming full album cover of the band’s Seventeen Seconds. Rose calls the track “a favorite off of the original album. I tried to change as little as possible, giving it a only slightly more modern fidelity. How can you mess with the perfection of the original without destroying it? It’s my best offering.”
Billboard premiered the cover, saying, “The guitars are a bit less crunchy, and tones have a sort of woozy echo that brings the 1980 song into 2017.”
Frankie Rose’s Seventeen Seconds is out tomorrow, October 27 exclusively via Turntable Kitchen’s Sounds Delicious vinyl series. The record, which also features the previously released “A Forest,” will be limited to 1000 copies on vinyl only and will feature the below artwork. Pre-orders are available now.
