Fossa bring the energy with their new single, Tamar. Written over a month from locations across the globe, the bands second single perfectly encapsulates the excitement of touring live with what is arguably their most dynamic track to date.
The Leeds based 3-piece formed in 2017 before unleashing their unique blend of electronic music, funk and disco to the world with debut EP, Bamboo in June 2018. BBC Radio Leeds wasted no time in picking up the EP which was also featured on a BBC 3 documentary later on that year (Parkour Changed Our Lives). Their second single 53rd Street was an emo-tinged electronic gem which delved deeper into the bands diverse sounds.
Taking influences from the likes of Jon Hopkins, Tycho and Vessels, Fossa’s music has been described as ‘progressive electronic music’. Their sets are a slamming testament to this, combining synthesis; drums; bass, and guitar to create one of the most exciting live shows in the UK today.
The indie up and comers show no sign of slowing down in their most exciting year yet. This year they’ve supported the Australian electro-pop set up Cub Sport; performing a sold out headline show in their hometown, Leeds; playing at The BeatHerder Festival’s Factory Stage; plus many more support slots up and down the country.
