This energetic, fun-loving troupe are heading south to a play a line of shows in Melbourne and Geelong, followed by shows across South-East Queensland in support of the yet to be released single ‘Come And Get Some Good Vibes’.
Mustering every ounce of energy that they have, Fat Picnic went back into the studio over the summer after having their most successful year in 2017. 2017 began with the release of their single ‘Best of You’ (March 2017) with the B-side track ‘Sand Gremlins’, both of which hit national airwaves on Triple J and throughout community radio stations along the East Coast.
The band has also had the opportunity to grace festival stages with their spontaneous, whacky and wonderful antics, including Splendour in the Grass (2017), Caloundra Music Festival (2016 and 2017), Island Vibe Reggae Festival and many more.
There is no doubt that Fat Picnic have made their mark on the indie roots scene and in that time have had the pleasure to have supported widely known acts such as the Hot Potato Band, Paua, Caravana Sun, Bearfoot, The Cheap Fakes, Sex On Toast and Bullhorn.
Revitalised and empowered by their success in 2017, Fat Picnic have set themselves a new benchmark for this new year – to expand their fun-loving live show with new music that puts smiles on faces and a spring in the step of all of those who attend.
Promising to run amuck down south and along the East Coast, Fat Picnic are starting this new moon with nothing but good vibes.
