Photo credit: The Sauce / Tyler Bell “An electrifying bout of rock revival” – Ones To Watch "The bigger the stage, the better Ocean Alley get" – triple j Beloved funk lords Ocean Alley are stoked to reveal their first national tour since 2018, announcing dates around the country in May and June supported by Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and Dulcie. The news follows the release of their latest video ‘Tombstone’, and caps off a huge 12 months for the Northern Beaches powerhouses.   Exclusive pre-sale ticket access via Spotify Fan First only, from 9am AEDT Monday 17 February. All shows on sale to general public from 12pm AEDT Tuesday 18 February from oceanalley.com.au.   The six-piece will kick off the tour at Fremantle Art Centre in Perth on Friday 1 May, making their way through Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and wrapping up with a hometown show in Sydney on Friday 5 June at Hordern Pavilion. Perth’s wacky Psychedelic Porn Crumpets join the national run as main supports, bringing their sprawling and grungy psych-round sound to the stage, accompanied by fellow Perth outfit, indie-pop darlings Dulcie who have mesmerised listeners since bursting onto the scene in 2018.   It’s been a long time between local headline gigs, with the upcoming tour marking two years since Ocean Alley’s last capital city run, and 18 months since their last regional dates. Across both tours, they sold out 15 shows including two nights each in both Sydney and Melbourne at Enmore Theatre and The Forum respectively. Those dates were in support of their then newly-released second album, the critically-acclaimed Chiaroscuro, and since 2019 the band have been writing and recording new music, with three singles released since – ‘Stained Glass’, ‘Infinity’ and ‘Tombstone’ – the first two eligible for the Hottest 100 of 2019, charting at #54 and #24. OCEAN ALLEY AUSTRALIAN TOUR 2020 with Psychedelic Porn Crumpets & Dulcie  Tickets on sale 12pm Tuesday 18 Feb from oceanalley.com.au   Friday 1 May – Fremantle Arts Centre, Perth Friday 8 May – Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide Friday 15 May – Melbourne Arena, Melbourne Friday 22 May – Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane Friday 5 June – Hordern Pavilion, Sydney   Launching into the new decade, Ocean Alley are fresh off the national Laneway Festival run and a stint in New Zealand over the New Year period, however 2019 ended with 30 sold out performances around the world after playing their biggest international shows to date. The band gave a career-defining, Saturday night main stage performance at Splendour In The Grass and were widely-praised for electric and commanding sets at Bluesfest, One Night Stand, Land of Plenty, Spilt Milk and the sold out, inaugural A Day For The Beaches – a community event they curated on the Northern Beaches to raise money for local charities. To round out their breakthrough year, smash hit single and #1 Hottest 100 of 2018 'Confidence' saw the band receive their first ARIA nomination for Song of the Year, and stand-out moments from that 12 month journey are chronicled in the new 'Tombstone’ video. Hailing from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Ocean Alley have solidified their position as one of Australia’s most exciting and increasingly booming exports. Having surpassed 200 million catalogue streams, as well as achieving the impressive feat of attaining more than 1.5 million monthly Spotify listeners, Ocean Alley continue to captivate audiences worldwide with their infectious blend of psychedelic surf-rock, selling out a slew of shows at home and abroad, plus performing festivals including Falls Festival (AU), Reading & Leeds Festival (UK), BottleRock (US), Sziget (HU) and Bay Dreams (NZ). Victor will be DJing in “The Shed” a warehouse that will be converted into another world solely for this event and is sure to be a spectacle in true elrow fashion. One would be hard pressed to find a more diverse lineup anywhere in the world.  RowsAttacks! is one of the must attend events for the modern party goer who should be prepared for the most iconic theme to date from elrow. It's the most anticipated theme that North American fans have been asking for. Michael Julian, Head of elrow North America adds, “People always told me that I must be from outer space so can’t wait to put my Martian suit on and party with all the other aliens!” As one of the most sought after experiential events in the world, elrow’s strength comes from its reputation, with NPR calling it, ‘the leading adult clubbing brand’.  Since its 2016 U.S. debut in NYC which attracted 800 attendees, elrow has steadily expanded its footprint in the United States, growing in notoriety and reputation. It now attracts more than 5,000 revelers per show as it heads into its fifth year of its New York residency. The New York Times gave praise, calling it an “art and music extravaganza ... a roaming celebration that is part Cirque du Soleil, part Alice In Wonderland.” elrow hosts the globe’s craziest parties to attend right now with North American residencies in New York and Las Vegas.  ROWSATTACKS!  NORTH AMERICA TOUR MORE INFO TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON  New York: April 18th   |   Chicago: May 2nd   |   Montreal: May 15th Media Praise From: “The Médicis of raving” -THE GUARDIAN "An immersive, multi-sensory experience for thousands of people.” -NEW YORK TIMES “A Worldwide sensation… arguably one of the most popular global parties currently.” -FORBES “A themed ‘happening’ … a premium on the entire clubbing experience.” -VARIETY “One of the most successful and outlandish party brands around the world.” -BILLBOARD “Legendary” -MIXMAG “The world's most popular clubbing brand.” -RESIDENT ADVISOR “A Colorful, Musical Circus” -BIZBASH About elrow: elrow was conceived in 2010 by Cruz and Juan Arnau, the sixth generation of entrepreneurs of the Arnau Family, who also founded the Monegros Festival and the legendary Club Florida 135 in Fraga, Aragón. Australia's indie rock future is in good hands and for those looking for the next wave, they're coming to a venue near you. Kicking their own goals separately, Melbourne's Teenage Dads and NSW Central Coast's The Moving Stills now team up for a huge memory making mission. Stepping off in WA this March, co-headliner 'The Antics Roadshow' sees both groups combine for shows and shenanigans across four states and one territory throughout March and April.  Prepare to witness The Moving Stills' sweet garage, indie vibes and acoustic driven numbers colliding with Teenage Dads 60s throwbacks and rich melodies during what will be some very special live dates. For Teenage Dads, choosing to go on tour with The Moving Stills was an easy decision. After playing with the band on a few shows together in 2019, they decided they could put up with each other for an extended period of time with the added bonus of exploring new parts of the country. "We're just two young bands getting together, hitting the road and seeing what happens. If there was anything we wanted people to get out of this tour, it would be to look at it and think 'wow, that looks fun," says Vincent Kinna of the band.  With new single 'Adrenaline Rush' arriving next Thursday 20 February, Teenage Dads join the tour already warmed up. They land fresh from an appearance at St Kilda Festival, NYE on the Hill and a national run with Lime Cordiale on their 'Robbery' tour in late 2019. Self-made, self managed and incredibly fun live, Teenage Dads have managed to pump out two EPs and a debut album in just two consecutive laps around the sun. With plenty of juice to land in 2020, the live shows will give fans a first chance to hear more new material to be released in 2020.  The Moving Stills have been anything but idle in the last few months. Their latest single 'Stick Around' saw multiple Spotify editorial playlist additions including Chords + Cardigans and the road trip inspired video for the track recently landed via triple j Unearthed. And next week they'll be triple j Unearthed artists of the week. The band are seasoned live performers, with sets at BIGSOUND, Big Pineapple Festival and Mountain Sounds Festival in their stage arsenal. Working on a debut EP for release in 2020, The Moving Stills are frothing to test out some of the unreleased tunes on audiences across the country as they bring their sticky surf-rock style to 'The Antics Roadshow'.  With two of Australia's most exciting emerging acts teaming up this two for one style event is a no brainer. There's plenty of gas in the tank, plenty of tomfoolery to be had and plenty of great music to be shared. Tickets for 'The Antics Roadshow' featuring Teenage Dads and The Moving Stills are on sale now.  RAIDA ARTISTS & SURESHAKER PRESENT TEENAGE DADS & THE MOVING STILLS  (**) = Teenage Dads Only SUN 1 MAR | Sydney Road Festival | MELBOURNE, VIC** EVENT PAGE THU 12 MAR | Waywards | SYDNEY, NSW EVENT PAGE SAT 14 MAR | The Northern | BYRON, NSW EVENT PAGE FRI 20 MAR | Barbara | BRISBANE, QLD EVENT PAGE SAT 28 MAR | The Workers Club | MELBOURNE, VIC** w/ Dulcie EVENT PAGE FRI 3 APR | Jive | ADELAIDE, SA (All Ages Show)  EVENT PAGE SAT 4 APR | The Setts | MILDURA, VIC EVENT PAGE SUN 5 APR | Eastern | BALLARAT, VIC EVENT PAGE WED 8 APR | Monash University | MELBOURNE, VIC** SUN 12 APR | SS+A | ALBURY, VIC EVENT PAGE SAT 17 APR | Camden Sports | CAMDEN, NSW EVENT PAGE SAT 18 APR | Transit Bar | CANBERRA, ACT EVENT PAGE SAT 25 APR | The Workers Club | MELBOURNE, VIC EVENT PAGE SUN 26 APR | Wrangler | MELBOURNE, VIC (U18 SHOW) EVENT PAGE CONNECT ONLINE WITH TEENAGE DADS CONNECT ONLINE WITH THE MOVING STILLS

Continuing to stamp their way through the early months of 2020, Sydney’s WAWAWOW present a brand new set of off the rails material in their new album, Pink Elephant. Energetic and charged up, the record is the band at their fiery best. Warping and manipulating sounds and influences from across an array of genres at each turn, the four-piece demonstrates flair and a skill for distilling this broad range of influences into a sound completely their own. STREAM 'Pink Elephant' | STREAM ‘The Big Cookoff’ Full   Sitting at 13 tracks strong, the band flexes their creative muscle stronger than ever before, fusing indie and electro with a great dash of psych-craziness (‘Rat Porridge’, ‘Elephant Bird’). Recent single, ‘The Big Cookoff’, was an early example of the madness WAWAWOW executed on record. Yet as Pink Elephant continues to roll out, the listener gets a more defined perspective of the band’s vision.  Over various studio and jam sessions, the album came together organically as the band riffed off each other’s energy and ideas. Capturing the essence of WAWAWOW as naturally as possible remained key to the process. “We wanted to find a way to capture the very first jams that we cut together and use them, rather than try later and fail to get the spark.” WAWAWOW Applying the same attitude to their visuals, the music video for ‘The Big Cookoff’ brings animation courtesy of Shaun Allen together with band and location footage in Sydney, sizing up brilliantly with the batshit nature of the song itself. “This track is our love/hate letter to Sydney in a lot of ways, so we wanted to get in as much of the city as possible. We then used stop motion animation to create the dark but cartoonish version of the city that matched the ridiculousness of the music.” WAWAWOW WAWAWOW - The Big Cookoff PRAISE FOR WAWAWOW “Absolute madmen, the lot of you.” Triple J Unearthed, Tommy Faith “Combine the righteous, face melting voltage of POND with the batshit zaniness of Tom Cruise appearing on Oprah and you’ll get an inkling for just how weird this four-piece can get.” Happy Magazine “A shattered self-deprecating tone marching through odd time signatures taking cues from somewhere between the B-52s and Royal Blood.” AMNplify With their new music ready and raring to go, fans will be able to catch WAWAWOW performing through NSW this month and in February. Time to join this crazy circus, WAWAWOW have got one helluva new show to deliver. “There’s something about the trance we put ourselves in, as we play without stopping, that has a slight tunnel vision effect. There’s no pauses to have a sip or fix up a pedal, so you kind of learn to exist on that plane.” WAWAWOW WAWAWOW TOUR DATES Saturday, February 15th Dicey Riley’s Hotel Wollongong Album Launch Saturday, February 22nd Town Hall Hotel Newtown Album Launch with Pyjama Sundayz, Cakewalk Pink Elephant is released Friday, February 14th. SUPPORT FOR 'FALLING OUT' “I feel like I've just swallowed a chilli. it's got heat from start to finish when you think it's peaked, there's moments where it escalates hotter than I thought it could go”. – 4/5 stars - Declan Byrne - triple j (AUS) “’Falling Out’ is an excellent introduction to the band if you're yet to get acquainted, opening with distortion and a rough-around-the-edges tease that this isn't going to be a clean or overly-polished rock song”. - PIlerats (AUS) “‘Falling Out’ comes out snarling, going straight for the jugular with the kind of cyclonic energy that can only be captured through the lens of vigorous punk rock”. - Blunt Magazine (AUS) Added to Spotify playlist ‘New Punk Tracks’ Following the release of their latest single ‘Falling Out’, Sydney-based punk band FANGZ have returned with its hectic accompanying video clip – directed by Joel McDonald and Reece Grogan from Yeah Rad Creative. Filmed in the bathroom of Jacoby’s Tiki Bar in Enmore, the clip is a rollercoaster ride of frenetic performances from the band, intercut with classic late-night examples of bathroom occurrences. These cutaways show people becoming best friends, sneaking drinks in, arguing, making out and passing out. It also features Tom Kennedy from Bare Bones singing the bridge and Adrian the owner mopping the bathroom floor at the end. FANGZ talk about the production behind the clip: “The night before the shoot FANGZ were drinking at Jacoby’s until close for Jameel’s birthday and we turned up the next day on two hours sleep. The cutaway scenes in the toilet cubicle were all shot on a static camera to give it a very 90’s feel. We put the call out looking for about 10 extras and ended up with about 30 people and having to make up scenes on the fly. One thing we didn’t take into account was how much the bathroom would echo during playback which made it very challenging to hear”. To coincide with the release, the band will embark on an East Coast run of headline shows with dates in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. This continues on from an unrelenting 2019 touring schedule, which saw them perform a sold-out EP launch at The Chippo, before touring with Aussie mainstays Gyroscope, and landing support slots with Canadian hardcore-punk heavyweights Cancer Bats and Comeback Kid. Since release the track has seen support from Spotify, triple j, triple j Unearthed, Pilerats, Blunt Magazine and SYN FM. Previous singles were strongly praised by Music Feeds, Hysteria Magazine and Australian community radio, including 4ZZZ, Aussie Music Weekly, 2RRR and Radio Adelaide. ‘Falling Out’ is available worldwide now FANGZ ‘FALLING OUT’ TOUR SAT 15 FEB | THE VANGUARD, SYDNEY NSW FRI 21 FEB | THE GASOMETER UPSTAIRS, MELBOURNE VIC SAT 29 FEB | GREASER BAR, BRISBANE QLD FOLLOW FANGZ FACEBOOK | TWITTER | INSTAGRAM | SPOTIFY | APPLE MUSIC

Ben UFO is an artist adept at making a wide range of genres accessible. Traversing the sounds of techno, drum n bass, garage, and acid, he maintains firm foundations in UK rave. In the club, his sets manage to appear simultaneously thought out, and also spontaneously off the cuff. Not afraid to jump from a distorted broken rhythm into a bass heavy four-to-the-floor groove, his selective prowess and long list of dance floor oddities has earned him sets at Panorama Bar, Fabric, Tokyo’s Air, and a string of notorious international venues. As the co-founder of Hessle Audio record label alongside Pearson Sound and Pangaea, the Hessle imprint delves into the various sounds that Ben UFO showcases in his sets. Housing works from FJAAK, Ryan Elliott, Radio Slave, Marcel Vogel, Jacques Renault and Cassegrain, Hessle Audio has undoubtedly played a role in Ben UFO’s creative evolution. As a DJ, his contributions to fabric Live mix series, Resident Advisor and BBC Radio 1 with a 2013 Essential Mix exquisitely showcase his talent, and assert his status as one of the industries most beloved DJs. Following a stand-out performance at Pitch Music & Arts 2018 alongside a full-house showcase at Revolver Upstairs, we’re excited to welcome Ben UFO back to the cage. Cult favourite forest festival Planet Paradigm is back once again for third magical getaway. This one day trip goes down deep in the Groningen woods on May 23rd 2020 with the likes of Zip, DJ Masda, SIT (Cristi Cons & Vlad Caia), Onur Özer, Junki Inoue, Ferro B2B Benny Rodrigues, Abstract Division, Reiss, DJ Orchid B2B UlsT and many more all providing the stylish and stripped back soundtrack for a surreal intergalactic getaway. VBX is hugely well respected in the underground dance world. The parties they throw in places like Amsterdam are always packed with proper music lovers thanks to the tasteful line-ups assembled. Each one mixes a crack team of residents with hot stars of the day and bona-fide legends. The team knows their local Amsterdam scene inside out and back to front and have a stylish minimal aesthetic to all they do, which means the music is always the main star. They know the best venues and put on legendary parties during ADE. Meanwhile, once an abandoned warehouse, Paradigm is an important cultural hub located in a rural area of the northern Netherlands that has its own rich rave history. They also host their own wonderfully immersive festivals that create a space where you can be yourself and express yourself freely in a community with people from all walks of life.  Once a year these two behemoths come together to create a unique one-day opening to Planet Paradigm. This cultural phenomenon is a close-knit affair with real music lovers and has sold out each and every time. It always takes in headliners who contribute their own classy, left-of-centre sounds to help visitors reach a higher state of consciousness by triggering all six senses from sunup until way past sundown. The surroundings are mystical, too, with unconventionally designed stages such as the Forest Stage, Dome Stage, Romney Stage and Club all immersing you in an escapist realm that feels many miles away from everyday life.  Like last year's showcase, aural and visual senses will be pleased in particular with all flavours of left leaning house, techno and electro from deep diggers like Zip and Onur Özer, Cabaret Records co-founder and Japanese favourite DJ Masda, taste making minimalists SIT (Cristi Cons & Vlad Caia), a live show from French wonderkid Sweely, mysterious Rotterdam techno talent Tafkamp, special back to backs from Paradigm and VBX legends like Ferro and Benny Rodrigues, with more from Abstract Division, Reiss, DJ Orchid B2B UlsT,Colin B2B Roy Lodder and much more.  Guarantee your place on this planet here: http://bit.ly/PLANETPARADIGM2020 Further images here: https://bit.ly/2OPdvTr Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/2644639292216420/  Facebook Paradigm: https://www.facebook.com/clubparadigm/events/ Facebook VBX: https://www.facebook.com/vbx.nu/  FULL LINE UP  Zip  Tafkamp   Sweely *live   SIT (Cristi Cons & Vlad Caia)   Reiss   Onur Özer   Manamana   Laurine   Junki Inoue   Joren Edwards   Gerrit de Boer   Ferro B2B Benny Rodrigues DJ Masda   DJ Orchid B2B UlsT Deniro   Colin B2B Roy Lodder   Aleksi Perälä   Adiel   Abstract Division

Planet Paradigm Announces Full Line-up For 2020 Zip, DJ Masda, SIT + more set for 23rd May party in Groningen, NL

“Lahey may be stuck in the thick of it now, but her ability to see as though she’s already beyond, to address life’s essential contradictions with thoughtfulness and humor, makes her an insightful storyteller.” — Pitchfork   “There’s an immediacy to Alex Lahey’s music so urgent that it’ll hook you before you even notice it’s happening.” — GQ Alex Lahey has today released a new track, “Sucker For Punishment.” “Sucker For Punishment” follows her second album, The Best of Luck Club, which is out now through Nicky Boy/Caroline Aus. The song, about self-delusion, is written from the perspective of the deluded. Throughout, Lahey’s exasperated vocals are backed by buzzing guitar and a jaunty bass line.    “We're living in an era we're the micro has become the macro,” says Lahey. “I don't think there has ever been a time where our actions and attitudes as individuals have had such an impact on broader humanity and the planet. Whether it's a ‘think about it later’ attitude towards climate change, the undemocratic consequences of sharing personal data to big business online, a lethargy in the face of political engagement or the need to be validated as a worthwhile individual through obtaining arbitrary units of engagement on social media -  we need to catch ourselves out before we suffer greater consequences.”   In conjunction with the new single, Alex has just announced a run of east coast US tour dates, which follow on from a UK run supporting The Regrettes, and a series of solo shows in Australia supporting City And Colour.   Alex Lahey (solo) supporting City & Colour: Wed April 15 – Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide (All ages) Fri April 17 – Fremantle Arts Centre, Fremantle Sun April 19 – Enmore Theatre, Sydney Mon April 20 – Enmore Theatre, Sydney Wed April 22 – The Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane (All ages) Fri April 24 – The Forum, Melbourne Sat April 25 – The Forum, Melbourne   Alex Lahey Tour Dates (new dates in bold): Fri.
