Frontier Touring and Sugar Mountain are thrilled to announce that due to overwhelming demand, a second and final show at Melbourne’s Prince Bandroom on Sunday 6 August has been added to Death Grips’ upcoming Australian tour. The first show (Sat 5 August) is now completely sold out and tickets to the newly added Melbourne show are on sale now with Sydney and Brisbane selling fast.
Exploding on to the scene in 2011, Death Grips have been heralded by critics and fans alike for their genre-defying musical style and uncompromising live performances. Having received praise from Pitchfork, SPIN and Rolling Stone, the group have truly transcended cult status.
Last having toured Australia in January 2013, these will be Death Grips’ first Australian shows since the release of their eagerly awaited fifth LP Bottomless Pit. The experimental hip-hop group recently released new track ‘Steroids (Crouching Tiger Hidden Gabber Megamix)’ and have also announced a new album is currently in the works.
