Where are you currently based and what is the music scene like there? I am based in my hometown Nice (south of France). Actually, we have seen recently a lot of artists coming from Nice like The Avener, Feder, Hyphen Hyphen. The music scene here is growing very fast. How did you first start playing music? My father was the first true inspirational figure for me as he let me very young listen to his vintage Vinyls from Bob Marley, Queen, Pink Floyd etc. That’s when I decided to choose Music as a way to boost my inspirations. How did you learn how to produce? I've had the chance to work with great friends’ producers who learned to me a lot, so I could also look and manage it myself. Every day since then I work to improve my skills and transform as much as possible the ideas into new tracks. Who are you listening to at the moment? At the moment I’m into the fabulous album Of Billie Eilish, it’s a masterpiece, otherwise I’m more of an 80’s guy, since little and till now I’m always a big fan of the pop Music from that time. What do you like to do away from music?  I love to hangout in my hometown, it’s such a pleasure to live here in south of France next to my family. Hanging out with my dogs or watching soccer with some friends it's something that I love to do. Where and when did you produce/record? Actually, the story goes way back like 6 years ago…Back in the days Larry handed it to me the acoustic original version of Free Like A Bird, after listening to it I knew already what to do with it. With Larry’s great collaboration we gave the track another shot and shaping into something groovier and more electronic. Who did you work with on this track? I Had the collaboration of my little brother from another mother Arthur Rémond on this track, he spiced it up and included some amazing vibes on it, and last but least course Larry Lynch my friend the singer of Free Like A Bird who did and great job with the vocals. You've recently signed to Warner Music, how did this come about and how has the experience with Warner been to date?  I would like to give a special thank you to Sylvain Baudier my Co-Producer on this project, without him we wouldn’t be doing this interview. It is a dream coming true to share my music to the world. I remain grateful also to Warner Music via the Elektra Label to trust in me. They've been really carefully and full of good vibes with me. What do you have planned for 2019? I’m working already on some upcoming tracks with some new artists, it’s really exciting and of course we are already planning a tour. Any secrets that you care to share? I can say that we should always follow our dreams and trust in ourselves, I’m more than confident on this one ;) Favorite food and place to hang out? I recommend in my Hometown, “Marinette “in the old town a super good restaurant, Le Délibo as well with a fabulous brunch and La Fabrik Bistrot in Beaulieu, it’s the restaurant of my brother Jerémy Vernevaux it's simply Delicious!
