Catfish and The Bottlemen’s young and growing fan base finally get their hit of new music as the band releases new single ‘Longshot’, out now via Island Records / Caroline Australia, with an accompanying video. Receiving its first play on BBC Radio One as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record followed by triple j Breakfast this morning, ‘Longshot’ follows Catfish and The Bottlemen’s recent headline run for Falls Festival, which saw them bring in the new year with Aussie fans: “Catfish & The Bottlemen shredded through a near-perfect mix of huge singles such as 7 and plenty of deep cuts.” – The Music
New music arrives on the cusp of a string of sold out UK arena dates in February and the announcement of the band’s transatlantic return with a new US tour. The dramatic, one-take birds-eye video, filmed by long-term collaborator, Jim Canty (‘Hourglass’ and ‘Twice’), on a South Shields cliff top, completes their emphatic return.
