With 2019 already shaping up as one of the biggest in the band’s career, Australian roots pop festival specialists The Cat Empire can now add an appearance at the upcoming Glastonbury Festival to this year’s impressive calendar of achievements.
Fresh off the release of their recent acclaimed album Stolen Diamonds, The Cat Empire will appear on the Avalon Stage at Glastonbury, this will be second time the band have appeared at the famous festival, and one of the many of the world’s most iconic events that feature on the band’s impressive festival CV.
The festival tour will also include further dates across Europe for the month of July, including the Spanish festivals Mad Cool and Doctor Music, festivals in Germany, and then the band’s own headline shows in multiple cities including a 10,000 person outdoor show in Bristol.
Homegrown fans will not be disappointed. The Cat Empire will also return to Australia for shows all around the country at the end of year/early summer, with details to be announced.
