Shameboy includes the lead single “Bring The Pain” featuring UnoTheActivist. Elias drops a smoky vocal over the cinematic, hard-hitting track that plays up the commanding tone at the core of the production.
The single serves a taste of the essence of Elias Boussnina’s upcoming EP Shameboy, that centers around the themes of
infatuation and addiction to destructive things in life. “Bring The Pain is about the feeling of not being able to keep yourself
away, from something you clearly knew isn’t good for you. You keep returning to it, because it feels great in the moment,
knowing that it will all come falling down in the end.”
The track was initially presented for Republic Records in New York. “It’s great knowing that UnoTheActivist heard Bring The Pain and liked it enough that he decided to jump on it.” Elias mentions. Pitchfork has called Uno one of the rappers that possesses 2018’s most inventive flows – and the highly praised rapper blesses the track with a nice ending verse.
