BOBBY ALU releases new video clip for ‘Fire’ in an ode to slow-living

“I’d be doing you an injustice if I didn’t suggest investing some time and money into listening to or seeing Bobby Alu live.” - The AU Review "Alu’s folk sound is a delightful array of feel good vibes" - EARMILK "clever, catchy, breezy pop with an unmistakably beachy feel." - Double J Following a recent premiere on Double J Mornings for single 'Fire', Bobby Alu's new video clip accompanies the tropical tune with a simple yet beautifully filmed music video. This visual ode to slow living arrives just a few weeks out from the release of Bobby Alu's new album 'Flow' set to release Friday 18 October, Shot by friends Woven Motion between Little Watego's Beach and the Koonyum Range in the Byron Bay region, the visual accompaniment follows the singer in an idyllic day-in-the-life-of a Byron Bay creative: sunrise at the beach, writing music with a cup of tea, and singing with a smile as contagious as the song itself.  Bobby Alu fans won't catch him by the beach for the next few months though. Currently touring North America with Xavier Rudd, the 'hammock music' aficionado circles back to home soil in October where he begins a national tour supporting Busby Marou. He then hits the Gold Coast for a very special solo set at The Roots Music Festival on the first day of Summer.  It's a big year for the Australian-Samoan master of chill, who has just come off the back of a string of huge performances. Nailing two packed out BIGSOUND sets just a month ago, Bobby Alu also performed at the Queensland Music Awards this year where he and longtime Qld collaborator Paulie Bromley were finalists for the Blues/Roots Award. With an upcoming album and back to back shows over the next few months including a newly announced free, all ages album launch in West End on 20 October, this mellow music maker's schedule is anything but chill - somehow he still manages to imbue relaxing vibes wherever he goes.  Bobby Alu Flow (album) OUT FRI 18 OCT (Independent)   VINYL PRE-ORDERS FOR 'FLOW' AVAILABLE HERE.
