Flight Deck/Mushroom are pumped to share Bliss n Eso’s feel-good new single ‘Good People (feat. Kasey Chambers)’, the trio’s first single for 2021 and an anchoring moment that marks big things for the hip-hop giants. To celebrate the release, Bliss n Eso have also announced a national headline tour for June/July that will see the group bring their infectious energy and unmatchable flow to audiences in Sydney, Adelaide, Fremantle, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Featuring Australian country music royalty Kasey Chambers – ARIA Hall of Fame inductee with 5 x ARIA #1 albums to her name – ‘Good People’ is an emotive slice of pop-driven rap that drives home the value in surrounding yourself with truly good people.

To Bliss n Eso, Kasey Chambers is one of the best people. She was there from the very beginning, at their first real studio session with her brother (country producer Nash Chambers) when the boys were just 17 years old.

“Kasey, Nash and their mum and dad were all in a band together called The Dead Ringers at the time and we spent the night with the whole family recording beats and having laughs. Ever since then we have stayed in touch with Kasey and Nash, even while working on this current album Kasey would drop off homemade cookies to our studio for the whole crew to indulge. It was in these moments that we were creating ‘Good People’ and we needed a female singer to elevate the track, it didn’t take long to realise that the angel that was surprising us with cookies was not only the perfect choice but the actual personification of the song itself. Kasey loved the track, and the rest is history.” – Eso

The release of ‘Good People’ follows the success of last year’s ‘Lighthouse (feat. Jake Isaac)’, ‘So Happy (feat. SonReal)’ and ‘Send It’, which saw them excite fans with yet another television performance live on ABC’s The Sound. ‘Lighthouse’ has garnered over 1.2 million streams on Spotify and was the cover of the platform’s Gold Bars playlist for eight consecutive weeks.

‘Good People’ will make its live debut with Bliss n Eso’s performance on the stage at Sidney Myer Music Bowl for this year’s Music From The Home Front, a concert on Anzac Day eve that will be broadcast live on Channel 9 this Saturday 24 April.
