BILLY FOX UNVEILS NEW SINGLE ‘BE LIKE THIS FOR A WHILE’

After returning with his warmly received track ‘Echo‘, Sydney-based indie-electronic artist Billy Fox has just revealed live dates and his striking new single, ‘Be Like This For A While‘—mixed by Chris Collins (Gang Of Youths, Middle Kids, Ruby Fields) and mastered by Steve Smart (Vance Joy, Tash Sultana, Dean Lewis).

‘Be Like This For A While’ is another stunning slice of emotively-driven future-soul. Combining themes of R&B, soul and hip-hop, the spacious track glides with precision as subtle beats, keys, guitars and bouncing horns provide the perfect bedding for Fox’s smooth and melancholic vocals.

In November, the musician will perform on two dates in Sydney alongside Sahara Beck and Edward R. The shows come off the back of intimate performances in Melbourne and Sydney promoting ‘Echo’. The hometown gig coincided with a conceptual art exhibition, in line with themes of the song.

Billy Fox has traversed the country multiple times selling out his own headline shows and supporting the likes of Glass Animals and The Aston Shuffle.

Over the coming months, Billy Fox will continue to write and record in the studio in preparation for his new record—due early-2019.

‘Be Like This For A While’ will be available worldwide on Friday 26 October.
