Your debut single ‘Running’ is out now, what influenced the sound and songwriting for Running?
The song was originally a slow modern tune with a samba feel. I was preparing a whole bunch of songs to record with my Producer, Luke Bertoz and had been recently playing a few originals with a fast kind of swagger. As I was strumming ‘Running’ I felt led to speed it up. I still remember the moment when it struck me that the song had transformed and scrambling to change the whole arrangement to be ready to record in the studio the following week.
