BEACHWOOD UNVEIL THE IMPASSIONED ‘LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME ALONE’

Electronic newcomers Beachwood today unveil their sophomore single, the impassioned‘Love Me or Leave Me Alone’.

The follow up to debut single ‘Miracle’, LMOLMA employs whimsically sparse production giving the lyrics and meaning room to breath. Building towards the climatic, liberating ending, LMOLMA provides an outlet for those ambiguous relationships.

Lead singer Ange offers further insight saying “I’ve definitely experienced many times in my life where I couldn’t bring myself to just say “look, you’re either in or you’re out” – either cos I was scared of shattering that fragile hope you have in it all working out, or because it’s easier not to face the reality that someone just isn’t that into you. Singing the lyrics to LMOLMA is so cathartic in that way.”

Jarrad adds “Love is a tricky game, no one likes to be taken for a ride and sometimes you just have to call it for what it is….LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME ALONE!”

This anthem for self-perseverance is accompanied by an adept lyric video which will likely resonate with anybody dating in the digital age.

Fellow member Jarrad is no stranger to constructing hits; under the guise of MSTR Rogers he’s a multi-platinum selling producer with songwriting credits including pop royalty Charli XCX, Lana Del Ray, Demi Lovato, Icona Pop, and Lauryn Hill. Jarrad’s hugely theatrical sound melds seamlessly with Angeline’s background in filmmaking, with the duo creating their own artwork and film clips alongside writing, producing and mixing their own music. The multi-medium duo’s debut single ‘Miracle’ comprehensively introduced them to the world, accompanied by a cinematic film clip directed by Ange, which took out the Runner’s Up prize for Best Music Video in this year’s CLIPPED Music Clip Festival at Vivid Sydney.
