Today, BC Kingdom, the future R&B duo, release ‘Jeepz‘ off their forthcoming EP project. Paper Magazine praise the song’s “late-night Second Life cruisin’ vibes.” The track follows the recent release of‘Yung Stunna,‘ which earned spots on best-of playlists from i-D and Dazed, and features production from DJ Kingdom (Ezra Rubin). More info on the 2018 EP to be announced soon.

Earlier this week, BC Kingdom were the surprise guests at SOPHIE’s show in London, having performed with her already in LA and NYC. The three performed unreleased collaborative songs, several of which will appear on BC Kingdom’s forthcoming EP.

In 2014, BC Kingdom, the duo of Logan and Chris, emerged from Inglewood, Los Angeles with a soundPitchfork called “hyper-contemporary R&B”, The FADER praised as “murky, moody, and truly impressive” and Complex lauded for its “dark, hazy vibes.” Solange released several tracks via her Saint Heron label and the duo earned a fan in James Blake, who gushed on BBC Radio 1, “I keep coming back to [“Lock Up”]. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a song like that.” But in the wake of a critically acclaimed collaboration with Mila J and performances for Marc Jacobs, the pair stepped behind the scenes and into the studio writing and producing for artists including Kelly Rowland.

Jeepz‘ is released on b4, a future-facing label that serves as a home for tomorrow’s most relevant artists. The music on b4 is a reflection of the genre-smashing landscape, where prior categories no longer apply.
