Today, BADBADNOTGOOD is sharing a remix of their track “In Your Eyes” feat. Charlotte Day Wilson by Nosaj Thing. The remix sees Jason Chung (aka) Nosaj Thing applying his distinctive, analog-based sound to the soulful cut taken from BBNG’s acclaimed album IV, out now on Pod via Inertia Music.

On IV, the Toronto outfit chose to expand their universe, which was already one of the most compelling, labyrinthe worlds in modern music today. Saxophonist Leland Whitty, a long-time collaborator, joined Chester Hansen, Matthew Tavares, and Alexander Sowinski on a full-time basis; for the first time, guest vocalists were welcomed into the fold. Some artists find collaboration stressful and cluttering, but BBNG simply seems freer to chase down creative rabbit holes than ever before.
With incredible appearances from Future Islands‘ Samuel T. Herring, Chicago rapper Mick Jenkins, Arcade Fire and Bon Iver collaborator Colin Stetson, Canadian producer-of-the-moment Kaytranada, and newcomer Charlotte Day Wilson on IV, BADBADNOTGOOD’s innovative and exploratory music is still at the forefront of what makes the album so special.
Not the first time a collaborator remixed their track, earlier this year, Snoop Dogg remixed BADBADNOTGOOD’s “Lavender (Ft. Kaytranada)” with an new verse added into the remix.
Having played several sold out headlining shows last December in Australia including a prime slot at Meredith Music Festival, the forward-thinking jazz foursome have been on back to back tours, playing across the globe including numerous high-profile 2017 summer festivals including Primavera Sound, Glastonbury Festival, FYF Festival and Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.
