For our 80th outing, we welcome Renato Rodriguez to Audiomatique. The Johannesburg born DJ and producer resides in Berlin now and is usually referred to as Renato (DE) on the download platforms.
Following on from releases on 90watts, Lucidflow, Manual and his own label Chocolat Records here are two brand new tunes.
‘Betails‘ opens proceedings – a deep and tracky statement of intent that points directly at the dancefloor. Crisp hats and percussion compliment a thick rounded kick – the track eventually opening up into a melodic tech house monster.
‘This Way‘ on the flip starts with a hard hitting kick, before developing an intricate, grooving rhythm thanks to the tightly programmed snare and hats. Adding a growling bass and moody, evolving melodies, the track blossoms into a full, glorious excursion.
