ANNABEL ALLUM ANNOUNCES SPECIAL GUESTS FOR UPCOMING HEADLINE SHOW AT CAMDEN ASSEMBLY
Annabel Allum is soon to perform her biggest headline show so far at Camden Assembly, alongside some pretty cool special guests:
“Raucous, tongue-in-cheek… a rock smash filled with grit” The FADER
“Courtney Barnett on a Kill Bill style vengeance mission” DIY
“Dripping with sarcasm and bite” The Line of Best Fit
“Retro rock from a fierce female” EARMILK
Annabel’s recent singles ‘Rich Backgrounds’ and ‘Eat Greens’ took hold of tastemaker attention, providing a platform from which she delivered several highly acclaimed SXSW sets this March as well as a slot at The Great Escape. Soon after this she earned her first ever spin on Radio 1 via Huw Stephens.
Back in early 2016 the songstress received early support from the online community and airplay on the likes of BBC 6 Music and Radio X with her debut single ‘Tricks’, whilst her original look and self-styling lead to endorsements from Bastian Classics, Cheap Monday and various other indie clothing brands.
Guildford-based singer-songwriter now continues her reinvention as one of the most vital, snarling and sarcastic voices in the indie scene with debut EP ‘All That For What‘. Since the release of her debut EP, Annabel has been keeping very busy playing festivals up and down the country, and has just come back from a huge European tour with the legendary Beth Ditto and a UK tour with Nadine Shah.
With the release of EP ‘All That For What’ earlier this year, Annabel has had a hell of a 2017, and 2018 looks to be no different with the announcement of her biggest London headline yet, at Camden Assembly on the 8th February 2018.
