If a recent breakup has you feeling a little blue this holiday season, look no further than Ricky Retro‘s new track “Happy New Year” to have you giving zero f*cks in no time. The infamously out-there producer teamed up with Will Simms under his brand Love Harder for the track’s soulful and irreverent vocals, which float over Retro‘s bouncy basslines, driving kickdrums and groovy melodies. Erring on the softer side of his music, “Happy New Year” is really a breakup track about wishing the other person well while doing your very best to forget all about them, and that’s something we can all get on board with. The new release follows Retro‘s “Freak On Me,” ft. Icona Pop, and a stream of independent singles that have had fans and tastemakers in the industry buzzing. “Happy New Year” is also Ricky‘s Ultra debut, welcoming him to a roster of some of the scene’s most talented artists.

Love Harder is a DJ, Producer & Recording Artist. Signed to Ultra Music Love Harder’s first single “Oblivion” Features Amber Van Day. “Oblivion” was added to Party Anthems on BBC Radio 1 on the day of its release and has already gained over 8 Million streams on Spotify alone, adding to a number of huge playlists across the streaming world. Love Harder recently performed on Europa TV as part of the launch for “Oblivion“. Love Harder also just co-wrote and co produced and Feature on “Beat Of My Heart” by Lost Frequencies. The Love Harder project is the brainchild and dance project of established multi award winning songwriter record producer Will Simms.

Homegrown UK electronic music producer RIBB[ ]N (pronounced Ribbon) unlocks his creativity on his second major label release, title track ‘Glass Sky’ taken from his EP of the same name. Perfectly showcasing his diverse and unique sound, with a keen ear for building energy, emotion and tension in his productions. Here he continues to demonstrate boundless potential as a new standout electronic music producer and a firm one to watch.

Having gone from strength to strength over the last few months he captured the attention of the industry and new fans alike with the delivery of his first release ‘Stuck Together’, with the US respected dance music portal Dancing Astronaut sharing that he ‘Sets himself apart via cerebral release of first single’. RIBB[ ]N brings a fresh burst of youthfulness and galactic feel, molding his own sound by taking clear inspiration from the sounds of legends such as Eric Prydz and Deadmau5.

Glass Sky is paired with an intensely visionary and stunning animated video, borrowing from 2001 Space Odyssey, Blade Runner and Ghost In The Shell. The video takes the viewer on a journey into the deep realms of space with the mood matching the cinematic feel and nature of this big sounding production.

The rave scene and electronic music landscape of Ukraine is one that remains largely unexplored, their booming techno sound little known. Yet still, there is no one better to spearhead the deliverance of Ukrainian talent than one of their own, internationally acclaimed DJ, promoter and recently crowned BBC Radio 1 Resident, Nastia.

Having carved her own path into a now seismic music career with no formal training, to guiding the next generation of DJs and producers via Smirnoff’s Equalising Music mentoring program, Nastia has become renowned the world-over for her straight-talking marque of techno. Built around her distinctive ability to curate the music of others in such a natural way that is assured to work on each and every dancefloor she graces, Nastia furthers those sentiments with the launch of her new label, NECHTO.

Seeing the conclusion of her previous project, ‘Propaganda’ through which she curated a minimal, house sound rather separated from her selections in the club. Nastia begins a new journey with NECHTO that is closer to the dancefloor and her talents first and foremost as a DJ.

Now taking a distinctly bold line and electronic confidence, NECHTO will present functional dancefloor music with a DJs-Only attitude, techno that works, whilst further exploring unknown talent within her home country of Ukraine. Unleashing a new beast, NECHTO, translated from Ukrainian to English means ‘Something’. A term often used in Ukraine to describe intense and marked techno experiences ‘NECHTO’ – ‘Wow, that was something!’. As she gears up to unveil a succession of vinyl releases, the first is a selection of four bottom heavy, all-encompassing techno cuts from an unknown artist. Drawing clear lines from the Ukrainian sound that has in turn established Nastia’s own signature, NECH001 lays the debut underpinnings on a label DJ’s can rely on; a focus on the well-designed musical components that matter.

Rising from a distinctive and thriving techno scene rooted in the purest sense of underground culture, NECHTO promises raw Ukrainian techno energy with no compromises.

The originators of Rap Metal are back. ICE-T and his band are as angry as ever on their 7^th studio album, titled CARNIVORE, which coincides with their 30^th anniversary as a band!

CARNIVORE, the band’s second album for Century Media Records/Sony Music Australia, continues the path of its uncompromising and critically acclaimed predecessors, Bloodlust (2017) and Manslaughter (2014), in pairing ICE-T’s angry and socio-critical lyrics with thick guitar riffs and nods to metal and hardcore greats like Slayer, Metallica, Pantera, Suicidal Tendencies and Rage Against The Machine.

The detailed cover design was created by award winning Polish artist Zbigniew M. Bielak, who the band met on their 2017 European tour, and who is well respected in the metal community for his album covers for Ghost, Mayhem, Deicide and Paradise Lost among others.
