AS AUSTRALIAN TOUR COMMENCES IN MELBOURNE THIS THURSDAY NIGHT
WITH SPECIAL GUESTS BLEACHERS
Paramore has unveiled their video for Rose-Colored Boy the latest single from their fifth album, After Laughter. The delightfully tongue-in-cheek clip – directed by Warren Fu (The Weeknd, Haim) – is streaming now, watch here. The video release coincides with the band’s return to Australian shores, as they kick off the first headline tour here in 4 years in Melbourne this Thursday night, following with shows in Sydney and Brisbane.
Paramore are supported by special guests Bleachers (Jack Antonoff), whom are embarking on their first Australian tour!
Paramore’s fifth studio release and first new album in more than four years, After Laughter is available now at all retailers and streaming services. Highlighted by the singles Hard Times, Told You So and Fake Happy, the #3 ARIA album has since proven one of 2017’s most critically applauded releases, with NPR¸ Rolling Stone, Billboard, The Guardian, SPIN, Noisey, Alternative Press, Brooklyn Vegan, Fuse and Stereogum each ranking it among their “Best Albums of 2017” lists.
Paramore has celebrated After Laughter by spending much of 2017 on the road overseas, drawing acclaim from coast to coast. “A 2017 Paramore concert impresses simply by stacking the hits on top of each other until the lights come up,” enthused SPIN, while Billboard raved, “(Hayley) Williams fulfilled her frontwoman duties to the fullest, with hair-flip headbanging and can-can kicks galore.” Perhaps Mashable said it best: “Unafraid of emotion, Paramore delivers the therapeutic pop-rock show 2017 needs.”
